I offer tuition and guidance in preparation for any maths challenge or competition, but particularly recommend those run by UKMT, (past papers below) for bright young mathematicians!

UKMT Junior Competitions

(Aimed at students in year 8 and below)

• The Junior Maths Challenge (JMC) :
  A 60 minute multiple choice paper which encourages mathematical reasoning and fluency to make students think!

• The Junior Kangaroo :
  A follow on round from the JMC, similar in style to the JMC.

• The Junior Mathematical Olympiad :
  A follow on round from the JMC, but is a 2 hour paper consisting of 6 Olympiad style questions in which the goal is to write logically clear and mathematically well structured solutions, rather than just get the answer right! A key skill to develop in young mathematicians!
